Bellevue Together

Individuals, Businesses and the Faith Community coming together to meet the needs of Bellevue families.
BT activities began in 2010 when one counselor in a high-poverty elementary school asked NBWC to take angel tree gift tags left on the angel tree. Without that support, 7 families and 13 kids would have had no Christmas gifts or Christmas Eve snacks, Christmas breakfast or Christmas dinner. In 2017, Suzanne Quinn joined Pastor Char and the two formed Bellevue Together and thus began a partnership between Bellevue Public Schools, 16 churches, several businesses and individuals.
BT works with counselors and social workers to identify families with legitimate needs to provide clothing, winter coats, gloves & hats, birthday celebration bags, valentines, a back-to-school event providing 5 outfits, underwear, socks, back packs (kids choose their own supplies as listed on the school website), new shoes, reading books, haircuts, manicures, hygiene packs, hair products, games, prizes, bicycle helmets and food. Parents have access to community resources represented at the event as well. (BT also provides gently used furniture to families transitioning to their forever homes).
BT is an arm of NBWC which is a 501c3 and can give donation receipts for tax purposes.
